As our first post, we would like to introduce one of our athletes. The 22 y/o Losene Keita has been a boxer for four years and recently joined our Aesthetic Wolf team.
We did a Q&A on his life and how he became a boxer. He is a Guinean MMA fighter who accidentally found his passion for boxing.

What is your life story?
“Well, my childhood was pretty intense. I was always a troubled kid. I got into a lot of fights in school. School wasn’t something that interested me. Also on the street, I’ve gotten into a lot of trouble. Once I’ve gotten into so much difficulty, that it got me into prison.
After my release in prison, I got into a fight on the street. There was a random person that approached me at that time. And he said that I had talent and that I should drop by to train sometime. At first, I didn’t think much of it. I didn’t want to go. But he kept insisting. And eventually, I agreed to train someday.
After the first time of training, I immediately knew that this was something for me. It was such a coincidence. So you can say that boxing saved me.”

Can you tell me something about your life in Guinea?
“I lived in Guinea until I was 11 years old. My family moved to Belgium when I was young. I wanted to stay in Guinea with my grandma. She was the only family I had there. You can say she has been a mother figure for me all that time.”

What is your ultimate goal to achieve?
“I really want to get a UFC title. That is my biggest goal.”

Imagine not being able to box anymore. What would you do as a profession?
“I think I would found a sports school. I would want to make winners out of people and train them to be great.”

What do you do these days during Corona times?
“I try to stay active. I usually train every day except for Sunday. So now I run each day to stay healthy. I also have a punchbag here at home to keep myself fit. And of course, relaxing is very important. So I play on the PlayStation sometimes as well. ;)”

Finally, how do you see the relationship with Aesthetic Wolf?
“Well haha, a really cool brand with nice clothes. And cool people who I love to work with!”

Thank you, Losene!
